Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the SnapKit mobile application (referred to as "the App"), developed by TelexTech (referred to as "we", "us", or "the Service Provider"). The App is provided as an ad-supported service and is intended for use as-is.
Information Collection and Use
SnapKit is designed to process your files entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, or transmit your photos, documents, or extracted text to any server.
The App may automatically collect the following non-personal data:
- Your device's IP address (collected by our ad provider, Google AdMob)
- Device type and operating system version
- App usage patterns and session duration
- Crash reports and performance data
The App does not collect your name, email address, or precise location data.
Device Permissions
The App requests the following permissions to deliver its features:
📷 Camera
Used only by the Extract Text tool to capture images for text recognition. Photos are processed on-device and never stored or transmitted.
🖼 Photo Library
Used to select images for PDF creation, text extraction, and compression. Your photos are processed locally and never leave your device.
💾 Storage / Media Library
Used to save compressed images to your gallery. We only write files you explicitly choose to save.
On-Device AI Processing
The Extract Text feature uses Google ML Kit Text Recognition, which runs entirely on your device. No images are sent to Google's servers for this feature — all text recognition happens locally.

Advertising
SnapKit uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data from your device to serve personalized ads, including your device's advertising ID and IP address. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — Advertising
- Google ML Kit — On-device text recognition
- Expo — App development platform
Data Retention
SnapKit does not retain any of your personal files or documents. Files processed by the App (PDFs, compressed images, extracted text) exist only on your device and are under your full control.
Any usage data collected by AdMob is subject to Google's own data retention policies.
Children's Privacy
SnapKit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take prompt action to delete it.
Opt-Out
You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the App at any time using your device's standard uninstall process or via the Google Play Store.
Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. Since all file processing happens on-device, your photos and documents are never exposed to external servers through our App.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
